I don't really look like this. Welcome to my web page. My fabulous avatar, shown to the left, is not actually a drawing of me, but a drawing that I did that reminded everybody of me.

I'm currently unpublished, so I can't really guide you to my books. At such point as I have books to guide you to, I'll plug them. I'll plug them a lot.

For now, if you're an author searching for help and support in the publishing process, read my blog, Ramblings of an Aspiring Novelist Buffon,. It has a lot of handy writing tips and hints for writers just getting started, both about the writing process and about getting published.

While we're on it, Ralan.com is a great resource for writers. They have a list of publishers so you can try and find the right publisher for you. (hmm.. should I have made a write/right pun there? Nah, that's too cheap, even for me)

See my LINKS AND RESOURCES, page for more.

...what do I write, you ask? I write science fiction and fantasy, mostly, although I have been known to branch out. I write dramatic, character-driven works, but with a low-brow action veneer so it doesn't bore you. I write about serious issues, but I want to tell a good story most of all, so you might not even realize I've been bombarding you with issues until you think about the book later. I try to write fun fiction, but I also write hardline angst and pathos, because I'm trying to write about real people, not just puppets.

Mostly, I just try to write books I would want to read.

Peace out.

This is where I would announce if somebody actually bought any of my books. So far I have one finished manuscript, Gene Traitor, one that I finished but I'm now going through trying to edit, Elf Wars, a short story (70,000 words) called The Lonely Door, and a host of unfinished projects.
