We went to the doctor today for another checkup and glucose testing.  Had to drink a bottle of fruit punch flavored syrup...not bad when you are starving!  Had to wait an hour and then give blood.  Love all the pokes and prods.  Heard BGs heartbeat again - strong, loud and fast!  Just the way we like it.  At my hospital, they rotate among a group of doctors and today we had the male doctor.  He was pretty funny - giving Alfred some advice on how to be quiet and take it like a man.  He said I'm allowed one "fit" a day.  Hmmm.  So far, I think Alfred's been pretty lucky...no midnight runs for ice cream or strange cravings.  We'll see what the next month brings...
