Downs Steam

General Information
You can't have a model railway club without layouts so the DDMRC has several in 'HO' and 'N' scale.
Currently operational and well along in construction are the 'N' Scale permanent "Yangri Valley RR" and the modular 'HO' scale "Drayton Valley RR".
A large permanent 'HO' layout - "Drayton Harbour Railway" is well underway in the early stages of construction, while several smaller layouts in both 'N' and 'HO" scales are available for exhibiting at shows, shopping centres, etc.

Meetings
Meetings are held at the club house on the 3rd Monday of each Month. At each meeting a different topic relating to model trains is presented.

Running Days & Nights
Running days of the club layouts are held on the first Saturday of the month and the following Wednesday night. The Saturday session is from 2.30 pm until 5.00 pm, and the Wednesday session is from 7.30 pm until 9.00 pm.

Working Bee's
Working Bee's are held at the club house on the other Saturdays and Wednesdays at the same time.
