I.                  Of course – Love!

II.               “Warn those who are unruly” – 1 Thessalonians 5:14

 

A.     “Warn” = admonish/exhort

III.           “Comfort the fainthearted” – 1 Thess. 5:14

 

A.     “Comfort” = to speak admonition & incentive, or to calm & console

B.     John 11:19

 

 

IV.           “Uphold the weak” – 1 Thess. 5:14

 

A.     “Uphold” = hold to firmly/cleave to/pay heed to

 

 

V.              “Be patient with all” – 1 Thess. 5:14

 

A.     “Be patient” = be of long spirit/don’t lose heart

B.     Galatians 6:1-10 (especially verse 9)

 

 

VI.           See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue wht is good both for yourselves and for all” – 1 Thessalonians 5:15

 

A.     “Good” = useful/salutary/pleasant/agreeable/joyful/happy/excellent/

upright/honorable

 

VII.       Other things we need from one another

 

A.     HONESTY – Ephesians 4:25 = don’t lie to one another

B.     HUMILITY – Romans 12:9-13

C.     BE KINDLY AFFECTIONATE – Rom. 12:9-13; Ephesians 4:32
