God Is
Great!
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Psalm 19:1-11 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of
David. The heavens declare the glory of God; And the
firmament shows His handiwork. 2 Day unto day utters
speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge. 3
There is no speech nor language Where
their voice is not heard. 4 Their line has gone out through all
the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In
them He has set a tabernacle for the sun, 5 Which
is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoices like
a strong man to run its race. 6 Its rising is from one end of
heaven, And its circuit to the other end; And there is
nothing hidden from its heat. 7 The law of the LORD is perfect,
converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure,
making wise the simple; 8 The statutes of the LORD are right,
rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure,
enlightening the eyes; 9 The fear of the LORD is clean,
enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and
righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired are they than
gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And
in keeping them there is great reward.
Our God Is Alive!
1 Samuel
Psalm 42:1-11 To the Chief Musician. A
Contemplation of the sons of Korah. As the deer pants for the water
brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. 2
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear
before God? 3 My tears have been my food day and night, While they continually say to me, "Where is your
God?" 4 When I remember these things, I pour out my soul
within me. For I used to go with the multitude; I went with them to the house
of God, With the voice of joy and praise, With a
multitude that kept a pilgrim feast. 5 Why are you cast down, O my
soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet
praise Him For the help of His
countenance. 6 O my God, my soul is cast down within me; Therefore I will remember You from the land of the
Matthew
Matthew 22:32-32 The same day the Sadducees, who say there is no
resurrection, came to Him and asked Him, 24 saying: "Teacher,
Moses said that if a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his
wife and raise up offspring for his brother. 25 "Now there were with us seven brothers.
The first died after he had married, and having no offspring, left his wife to
his brother. 26
"Likewise the second also, and the third, even to the seventh.
27 "Last of all the woman died also.
28 "Therefore, in the resurrection, whose wife of the seven will she
be? For they all had her." 29 Jesus answered and said to them,
"You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor
the power of God. 30 "For in the resurrection they neither
marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven. 31
"But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was
spoken to you by God, saying, 32 'I am the God of Abraham, the God
of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? God is not the God of the dead, but of the
living."
How Great Is Our God!
Isaiah 40:21-26 Have you
not known? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning?
Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? 22 It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its
inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a
curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in. 23 He brings
the princes to nothing; He makes the judges of the earth useless.
24 Scarcely shall they be planted, Scarcely shall they be sown, Scarcely
shall their stock take root in the earth, When He will also blow on them, And
they will wither, And the whirlwind will take them away like stubble. 25
" To
whom then will you liken Me, Or to whom shall I be equal?" says the
Holy One. 26 Lift up your eyes on high, And see who has created
these things, Who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by
name, By the greatness of His might And the strength of His power; Not
one is missing.
Psalm 145:1-10 I will extol You, my God, O
King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever. 2 Every day I
will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever
and ever. 3 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable.
4 One generation shall praise Your works to
another, And shall declare Your mighty acts. 5 I will meditate on
the glorious splendor of Your majesty, And on Your
wondrous works. 6 Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts, And I will declare Your greatness. 7
They shall utter the memory of Your great goodness,
And shall sing of Your righteousness. 8 The LORD is gracious
and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy. 9 The LORD
is good to all, And His tender mercies are over
all His works. 10 All Your works shall praise You, O LORD, And Your saints shall bless You.

God Is Able to Deliver You
Deuteronomy 7:9-24 "Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is
God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand
generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; 10
"and He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them. He will
not be slack with him who hates Him; He will repay him to his face. 11
"Therefore you shall keep the commandment, the statutes, and the judgments
which I command you today, to observe them. 12 " Then it shall
come to pass, because you listen to these judgments, and keep and do them, that
the LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore
to your fathers. 13 "And He will love you and bless you and
multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your
land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle
and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers
to give you. 14 "You shall be blessed above all peoples; there
shall not be a male or female barren among you or among your livestock. 15 "And the LORD will
take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible

Daniel 3:16-17 Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O
Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17
"If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us
from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O
king.
Daniel 6:18-23 Now the king went to his
palace and spent the night fasting; and no musicians were brought before him.
Also his sleep went from him. 19 Then the king arose very early in
the morning and went in haste to the den of lions. 20 And when he
came to the den, he cried out with a lamenting voice to Daniel. The king spoke,
saying to Daniel, "Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom
you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?" 21
Then Daniel said to the king, "O king, live
forever! 22 "My God sent His angel and shut the lions' mouths,
so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and
also, O king, I have done no wrong before you." 23 Then the
king was exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel
up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no injury
whatever was found on him, because he believed in his God.
