Casting the Circle
The Altar should be facing North
Light candles and incense
You should have candles and symbols of the elements
in their appropriate
directions.
Draw the circle Deosil:
"By the Earth that is her body
By the air that is her breath
By the fire that is her bright spirit
And by the living waters of her womb,
The circle is cast, so mote it be"
Closing the Circle
Draw the circle Widdershins:
"By the Earth that is her body
By the air that is her breath
By the fire that is her bright spirit
And by the living waters of her womb,
The circle is open but not unbroken
May peace of the Goddess go in your hearts
Merry ye meet and Merry ye part
And Merry ye meet again
Blessed Be"
