Fump is the Staphylococcus Epidermidis rat of this experiment. She is the most timid of the rats, and is often found hiding from us. She is gentle, however, and is not aggressive.
02/21/01- Day Three
* Fump's mass for today was 179.9 grams
* She had 15.05 grams of pellet food remaining and ate 16.85 grams.
* She drank approximately 1.75 ounces of water.
* She was given 28.69 grams of food and 8 oz of water.
* We have observed Fump sneezing occassionally today, and she is a bit lethargic.
* She is quite squeaky and vocal today
02/20/01- Day Two
* Fump's mass for today was 158.6 grams.
* She had 15.0 grams of food remaining (with shells and spills) and ate 15.0 grams.
* She drank approximately 1.25 centimeters of water
* She was given 31.9 grams of food and 8 oz of water.
**NOTE: The food type was changed from the seed mixture to a rat pellet diet. Also, the bedding was changed from newspaper to shavings.
02/19/01- Day One
* Fump's mass for today was 174.5 grams.
* She was given 30 grams of the seed mixture and 8 oz of water.
