DOCUMENTATION AND OTHER VENDOR REQUIREMENTS FOR PAINTS

OTHER MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

PAINT
Test documentation must be provided  as per 
• AS 3730-2006
• HB 73.2-2005: Handbook of Australian Paint Standards;
• Or relevant international equivalents

Aerosol products 50mL to 1000mL inclusive must comply with AS 2278.1-2008

Legal Requirements (for all chemicals)
• AICS Registration:
Chemicals imported into Australia must comply with NICNAS requirements. To comply, all components/ingredients of the product must be positively listed as an existing chemical on AICS  (Australian Inventory of Chemical Substances) . 
Note: Some chemicals are exempt.

• All chemical products are required to have an Australian Format MSDS as per Safe Work Australia's "Model Code of Practice - Preparation of Safety Data Sheets for Hazardous Chemicals".
