DOCUMENTATION AND OTHER VENDOR REQUIREMENTS FOR CAR POLISH OTHER MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: CAR POLISH ASTM D3836 - 94 (2007) (Standard Practice for Evaluation of Automotive Polish) must be used as a guide for perfromance testing. Reports must be provided (either in-house or external) to show testing of the following: • Polish performance • Post-polish sun and rain resistance Any performance or application limitations (eg "not suitable for certain paint finishes") must be clearly stated on the labelling and instructions. Product must be fit for purpose. Legal Requirements (for all chemicals) • AICS Registration: Chemicals imported into Australia must comply with NICNAS requirements. To comply, all components/ingredients of the product must be positively listed as an existing chemical on AICS (Australian Inventory of Chemical Substances) . Note: Some chemicals are exempt. • All chemical products are required to have an Australian Format MSDS as per Safe Work Australia's "Model Code of Practice - Preparation of Safety Data Sheets for Hazardous Chemicals".
