My other World ! it is filled with daily pain from a severe car wreck which disabled me at age 53. I started collecting precancels as they were so inexpensive to purchase and took hours to arrange. I now have been collecting stamps for 4yrs and they are a way of omitting the pain I suffer daily. My Dr. say's it is a perfect pain killer as I take myself into another world of relaxation and calm. I have expanded my knowledge of the world and history? besides having a hobby that gives me some extra spending money selling or trading my extras. I have learned to make album pages on the computer and now have a very large collection of Wyoming Postal covers.

I give all credit to stamp collecting as my sole reason to be up and excited every day. I'm always looking for that rare or uncommon stamp that will let me retire. I really enjoy the kindness and help that all the dealers and collectors have shown me over the years. It is such a wonderful hobby, and I wish I could help others in pain and distress to get involved, as to ease their suffering. I surely have found a wonderful drug for pain....Its called stamps.
