More information The society fosters the study and understanding of the history of Pentrich and the surrounding area. It offers regular talks, practical workshops, discussions and visits to sites of interest. It also sponsors plaques on buildings and sites associated with the Pentrich revolution of 1817 and publishes leaflets on the history of the village and a historical trail.
