Harry Allen and his brother Frank established the business in 1945. It was expanded in 1960 to offer collectors a similar service ... and in the early 1970's Harry Allen was amongst the first companies world-wide to enter the philatelic agency business (via Sweden). In 1987 The Westminster Collection identity was formed by Harry's son, Stephen Allen. Today, Westminster is a major player in the collectables field. Along with stamps and coins, Westminster also retails jewellery and a range of collectables.
