The Naked Gaymes
To commemorate the 1996 Summer Olympic
Games in Atlanta, and to make a buck in the collectables
market, the United States Postal Orifice issued a stamp
sheet picturing twenty athletes participating in Olympic
events.
Appreciating the strength and beauty of
the athletes, and the chance to make a buck too, artist
Steve Smith carefully airbrushed off bathing suits and
gym shorts creating Artistamp prints which more closely
reflect the nature of the original Olympics, which were
played in the buff. Shown here is the top half of the
Naked Gaymes print featuring an all male cast of
characters working up a sweat. The image seen below
represents half of the Naked Gaymes Print.
