BELTARO AS FATHERLAND

The Land of Beltaro is located on a blue-green planet, by the same name, located at the far fringes of the known universe. this jewel of a planet was "discovered" more than 32 years ago by the other outer-worlds, but until recently it was not very well known nor on any star maps. Travel to Beltaro is accomplished by "folding" and/or the "wrinkling" of time.

Beltaro is known to the people as the "Fatherland", in that it is a very ancient land steeped in the traditions, laws, and religious beliefs of the Elders that once reigned throughout the whole of the land. These traditions are still held in high esteem by the modern day Beltarians.

The ancient main city of Izra is located on the large continent of Beltaro near beautiful Kristlorie Bay. Izra is the Capital City of Beltaro and Castle Izra is the heart of all the fundamental workings of the whole of Beltaro Prime, including all the Islands surrounding the main land mass. Many cultural activities are held in and around Castle Izra. The Castle Izra is open to all citizens and visitors alike and everyone has access at all times to those who hold positions of authority. The inhabitants of this planet are very intelligent, friendly, ambitious, and peaceful. They also love celebrations, and will use any and all reasons to have festivals that last three or four days. The largest of these celebrations or "festivals" being Founder's Day held in the Earth month of April from the 6th to the 8th. All these events are held on the beautiful grounds of Mauzer Park located in the City of Izra.

The Fatherland of Beltaro has many ancient castles, all of which are still occupied by descendants of the original owners. These castles are found throughout the whole of this beautiful land. Primeval ruins of former "cities" are located at several scenic locations on Beltaro. All these sites are protected by law and all have adjoining areas for citizens and visitors to "camp out". Everyone is encouraged to explore and enjoy these areas as they are important parts of their heritage. At several of these sites, especially at the base of majestic Mt. Zerin, there is Rock Park where many ancient ruins and unusual rock formations can be explored and enjoyed. Mt. Zerin soars to more than 20,000 feet high and is a very popular place with Beltarians as well as other world visitors. Surrounding this area are beautiful wooded sites for camping which are very peaceful and relaxing. Many artists and other creative Beltarians use this area for retreats. It is said to be a mystical place that brings out the best creative ideas in those who visit.

This Official Special Issue of Beltaro Poste of Fatherland stamps shows Castle Wight located in Stolayvul which is located half a day's travel North West of the4 City of Izra. Stolayvul, Beltaro, circa 698, as measured in Beltaro time, is a quiet small village nestled in the gentle, rolling, pine and timber-covered foothills of the Zerin Mountain Range. It is the home of Count Edwin of Wight and The Esteemed Lady Mandy. This site was chosen as it is one of the oldest occupied castles on Beltaro. Stolayvul began as a small settlement along the foliage lush banks of the Wight River and has remained an important inhabited area on Beltaro ever since due to the abundant useable timber found on the forest-covered hills that surrounds the village.

The two golden plumed birds depicted on the stamp are the National Bird of Beltaro, "The Golden Breeamina." The first bird, shown in the lower left of the stamp, is looking "back" to the past and the Ancient Ones for Counsel and Guidance, to show them the direction they must follow to assure the future of Beltaro. It was only through the hard work and sacrifice of all the Ancient Ones of the Fatherland of Beltaro who went before, that Beltarians now enjoy the beautiful world they inhabit.

The second bird shown near the upper right of the stamp is looking "forward" to the future of Beltaro. The future of Beltaro is the harmonious blending of the Old Ways and traditions of the past, into and with the emerging technology of the New Age now emerging on Beltaro. The Golden Breeamina is not shown at the very top of the stamp, because the future of Beltaro is not yet written... it is evolving and spiraling outward caring it's people with it on its journey forward.

Shown in the lower right of the stamp is the Official Flag of Beltaro Prime with the colors being blue, yellow, red, and white. The four stars on the white field represent the four main land masses of Beltaro. the large red star with three tails represents the Mainland of Beltaro, the top larger blue star represents the next largest island of Anacaro, and the smaller two blue stars represent the smaller islands in order of size, Marstanarie and Junastevia. The three tails are for the three Ancient Ones or Prophets who ruled over the Fatherland of Beltaro in The Ancient of Days; they being Amla (pronounced Am-La), Noraa (pronounced No-Rah) and Izra (pronounced Is-Rah), Artist renditions of Amla and Noraa have been made into official stamps of Beltaro.

The Fatherland of Beltaro has continually protected, supported and nurtured its people through Ancient Times. It will, without a doubt, continue on this course into the future. Beltaro and its inhabitants are proud, valliant and enterprising... ever moving forward toward a better future for all... while at the same time preserving the values, traditions and heritage of it's past that has forged and melded it into the beautiful and peaceful world it is today.

As I, being appointed Representative for Earth to Beltaro... I was warmly welcomed upon my arrival six years ago. I immediately felt the love these people have for their beautiful Fatherland of Beltaro. I have since then learned to love Beltaro as my "home away from home." I love the traditions of the Old Ways, the stories the Elders tell at the Festivals, the old castles and the mysteries they still have to reveal. The people have taken me to their hearts and I have many caring and dear friends. I am always welcomed into their homes like I am a family member. Just recently they have shown their love for me and their confidence in me as they have now appointed me Ambassador for Beltaro to Earth... and now, I am able to spend more time in the place I have grown to love as my Fatherland, too. Beltaro.. The Fatherland! Beltaro... The Beautiful Land!
