This issue commemorates the life and art of
American artist Ray Johnson (1927-1995),
Ray Johnson was one of the earliest of the Pop Artists.
He became known for his creation of whimsical works known as "mail art",
art he created out of scraps of correspondence.
Ray founded the now famous New York Correspondence School in 1968.
