Royal Invitation

14th July 2009

Stalham Band's Director of Music Dr. Tim Thirst - accompanied by his wife Tricia - attended a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. The event was hosted by Her Majesty The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. The invitation from The Queen was in recognition of Dr. Thirst's voluntary work with brass bands in the UK, Stalham Brass Band and music training in schools and the community.
