Iron Will

The story of a boy who enters a dog-sled race in hopes of winning prize money to save the family.  Lots of adventure and shows the harshness of racing in the Alaskan wilderness.  Rated PG.

Balto Rated PG

Loosely based on a true story of the 1920s, Balto is a half-dog, half-wolf who overcomes his outcast past to guide a sled carrying urgent medical supplies to a town full of sick children in Alaska.  Cute for young children, but lacks historical accuracy.
