Mrs. Seagraves' QUEST Class
by Suzanne Seagraves

QUEST is a program for gifted and talented students at Dannelly School in Montgomery, Alabama. Students in grades K-6 attend QUEST one day a week with instructor, Suzanne Seagraves. Students complete enrichment units over a variety of topics including technology-related projects and environmental studies. If you're a teacher looking for dynamic projects to teach in your classroom you've come to the right place! Suzanne has provided detailed descriptions of online activities, units of study, technology projects, and even tips on how to make your own teacher site by learning about how she created hers.

The units of study include such topics as: marine biology, environmental storytelling, literature, postcard geography, raising chicks, and other activities. A highlight of this site is the award winning Environmental Center. This project was funded by grants and donations and created by students and community members. Read all about it and see pictures of the gardens, pond, and homes for wildlife available there. Visit the Environmental Center Classroom and read about the environmental science activities that go on there and meet Grandforest Tree, the storytelling tree who teaches students about nature and the environment.
