How to bathe a Ferret
In General Ferrets only need 2 to 3 bath per year.
Some Ferrets love bath time in that LUKEWARM water (as warm as you would use for a baby), while other's hate it.
A ferret has oil glands in several places just under the skin and when the skin becomes dry, oil from these glands are released and distributed all over the ferret. This oil has the musky odor (the frito lays smell).
No matter what your ferrets preferrence sometimes they will need a bath. When they helped Mom or Dad repot their plants, organized their cupboards and got into sticky or other substances, then you may consider a bath.
There are special ferret shampoos on the market and then there is the good ol' Tearless Babyshampoo.
