Bathtub Ballad
1. Purchase practice baseballs, whiffleballs,ping-pong balls, and other light weight plastic balls; ferrets are less likely to puncture holes into them, making them safe from being chewed up and indigested.
2. Fill the tub in a single layer, half way, so half of the tub is empty. Make sure your Ferret friends are able to get in and out of the tub.You might also want to try adding warm water to it for Ferrets who love the water!
3. Watch and enjoy the fun!
Ferrets in a Bag
In this game the human needs a plastic bag like the ones from the grocery store. Barnes and Noble or Red Lobster have the perfect bags for this game. The human is required to find as many ferrets as he owns and place them in the bag which he holds in the air. When the fuzzies are securely placed (leave the bag open) in the bag use the handles on the bag and move up and down to shake up what is inside (start gently until the Ferrets get used to the sound and movement of the bag).
Then the human carefully lowers the bag to the ground and let the contents spill at it's own speed and time. Sometimes the contents will try to attack the human this is when the human needs to use the same bag and fend off the attacker!!!
The human may have to repeat the process a few times from the beginning to get desired results. This game has to be played at hyper/ferret speed as to minimize the escape of ferrets while tracking other victims. For a variety try paper bags, Krinkle Sacks, towels and even light blankets or sheets.
