Here are just a couple of good choice cages.

When buying cages, look for cages with plastic bottoms, to make cleaning the cage a breeze. Dog crates with plastic bottom will work great as long as the ferret cannot squeeze through the bars.
TIP: Use hardware cloth (galvanized) to cover the areas the ferret can squeeze through when purchasing a dog crate. It will also be helpful to purchase closet maid shelving and some linoleum floor to cover the shelves.
Avoid cages with wire bottoms, for Ferrets can get their little feet caught and break them in the wire mesh.
