To See You

I live within Your story,

Its blessings never cease;

In the Mantle of Your Glory,

And the fragrance of Your Peace.

I am walking in Your footsteps-

Oh, keep my going straight!

You are my destination

And my journey will not wait.

Today, then, let me see You-

Open up my wondering eyes-

Let me see You at the dawning

In the perfect, rosy skies.

Let me see You in Creation,

Your Face in every flower;

Count endless time in motion

In the passing of the hour.

And this shall only be the start-

My hope will surely come-

To find You and Your Father s heart

In the knowledge of Your Son.
