The Woman in Me Him I study as Truth, and the creative imagination of
mankind, expressed in their spiritualities, their saints, their traditions
and their prayers, their heroes, tales and legends of all nations and all
times...this is the achievement of the I believe Him to be God's Only Son and the Lord of the
whole world- the regulator of our excesses, and the focus of every good
thing. When, at the last His revelation is complete, it will be like the
Sun in the sky lighting up all others – all other realities, that is, and
revealing them as smoke of incense in His sight....the prayers of all His
sons. We stand like a grove of unique trees in His sight, each one hand made, and each one different and sequestered to itself...each one of great age and dignity, simply standing receiving His life as a flower receives the sunlight. The human creativity that i study and practise is like the birdsong in my branches, or like my medicinal leaves, or like the perfume of flowers whose roots were in Eden. Jesus will pick up what has been lost, and call to mind
what has been forgotten... Jesus will utter the prayers I cannot speak,
with His superior excellence than mine. Francis knew that, in his poem to
to Brother Sun. Wordsworth knew that in his Natural Piety poems. History tends to be dull, but to the artist the poetry, the myth and the story will always appeal. The Bride herself may be silent before her Spouse, and simply exist in a quiet mind that reflects Him like clear water, or moonlight. Physical pleasures and pains are alike insatiable, and will never be satisfied in this life. We must reflect our excesses back to the physicality of Jesus' Truth, and stay committed to His reality... He is more than the chirping of the birds in our branches... He is the whole world to us... the whole world. The rosary of human life which each of us holds in our hand is nothing compared to Him... the Source of Life and Love, Who reveals God to us so that we may receive Him, starting in this life, and flowering before Him forever in Heaven. Starting from His intervention in our life, the world
becomes the garden, before sin and beyond sorrow, in which we find our
first and truest home, and our only task is then to love Him, and become
ourselves the focal point of His tenderness for us.
