Set My Feet

The end of all my life is praise-

It fills me to the brim;

Oh, set my feet in Jesus  ways-

Knit up my hours in Him!

I want to see the Father s house,

And live forever there-

Walk hand in hand with Jesus Christ,

My joys and sorrows share.

As a lily-flower I want to grow

On the Wings of Heaven s Dove;

But, most of all I want to know

The secrets of God s love!

Let me love as Jesus loved,

With fire that flesh outran;

His Grace embracing from above

The whole world in each man.

Father, let me honour You,

And do the things You do;

And hold within my trembling heart

Your Name forever true.

So brightly shines Your Holy Face

By shadows undefiled;

May I live this day within Your Grace,

And may I be Your child.
