O Jesus, let me live today
As a completely new start of my life.
Let all things be reborn in Your love.
Let me make a new beginning
From all my useless ways,
And let me care for myself and for those near me
Better and better, and with a mother's graciousness,
For the glory of Your Name,
And the redemption of souls.
Let me overcome past failures
With this filial commitment to Your love.
Jesus, guide me over the sea of life,
And meet me on the shores of eternity,
With outstretched arms-
My Good Shepherd and my Lord,
And I Your lamb of meek and gentle spirit.
Amen.
