O Jesus

O Jesus of eternity

In You is life begun;

I give You the waning of the moon-

I give You the rising of the sun.

Let every tongue be silenced;

Let all the world kneel down;

Let all gods fall before You,

All saints cast down their crown.

From You we know the holy Name

Of the Firstborn Son so true;

There is not, and has never been

A Lamb of God like You.

Let us then sing Your Glory,

Your praises raise above;

Because Your Name is holy-

Because Your Name is Love.

And You have shed Your blood for me,

To share Your life Divine,

And walk the dusty road with me,

And eat, and drink my wine.
