My Saviour

Since my Saviour I have met,

He reached His hand to me;

I am who I once was, long ago,

And evermore shall be.

Since my Saviour I have met,

I know not pain or sorrow;

But like a songbird I can sing,

And care not for tomorrow.

Since my Saviour I have met,

I know that I am loved;

And I am changed because I feel

His blessing from above.

Since my Saviour I have met,

I am content to stay-

I do not seek another time,

But live in peace today.

Since my Saviour I have met,

My heartfelt thanks I raise;

And since my Saviour I have met,

I cannot stop my praise.
