FIRE SERVICE SQUASH NATIONALS 24th - 26th April 2009

OPEN TO PLAYERS OF ALL STANDARDS

The annual National Squash Championships

held every April at the prestigious Nottingham Squash Club - training centre

for the England National Squad - attracting competitors of all ages from numerous Fire Services throughout the UK.

The main tournament is always a hard fought competition, while many other players, male and female, of all standards

participate

The format is designed to encourage as many players to play as many individual games as possible. To facilitate this,

subject to their eligibility, competitors can enter two of the main tournaments (Main Championship, over 35�s,

over 45�s, over 50�s, and Ladies), it is also hoped that players will opt to play in the �less serious� Handicap and Doubles

Tournaments, there is a plate in all categories for first round losers.

Competitors should arrive at the Club by 1200hrs on Friday for registration and a pre-tournament briefing, play

commences at 1300hrs. All players will be guaranteed a minimum of two games on Friday and a further two

games on Saturday, with opportunities for additional games in the �less serious� tournaments. The finals of all

the competitions are played on the Sunday morning.

Our motto every year is �the more, the merrier�, so please enter, using the form below, as soon as possible so

that we can plan accordingly. A �10 registration fee, payable on arrival covers your entry(s), and you will receive

a �goodie bag� containing a commemorative T-shirt, a meal on the Saturday evening and a vouchers for one drink.

Competitors generally stay in a local Hotel, this is a short walk from the club and we receive special rates, details

will be on the website nearer to the Tournament date.
