| 5 THINGS TO DO WHEN YOURE FEELING BLUE Its tough being a teen. Alongside having fun, we sometimes have to deal with tough issues like peer pressure, low grades and certain insecurities. But teen angst shouldnt let you down. When youre feeling glum, here are five things to try to get you out of dumps. 1. Do the Ally McBeal dance. Every time Ally is down, she dances! Go crazy and dance your problems away. Youll definitely feel better after! 2. You dont have to be thin to be attractive! Go shopping and get the clothes that emphasize your best features. Eat healthy, exercise and feel good about your body. 3. Reading uplifting books like Chicken Soup For the Teens Soul or Tuesdays With Morrie will help you reflect on your life. Try reading childrens books too, like Harry Potter or The Little Prince to help you relax, laugh and hone your imagination. 4. Theres no fuzzier way to make you feel better than hugging someone who cares about you. Hugging your mom or a friend is 100% comforting and 100% contagious! 5. When people push you down, look in the mirror and tell yourself that no matter what people say or do, you always have yourself to rely on. See the beauty within you and go shine girl! -thanks to Kai Palileo |
