Hi, my name is Linda. My purpose is to promote kindness to all Gods' creatures big and small. I love and respect all animal life and believe that they have a purpose on this earth other than to benefit some of the selfish needs of man. We do not own our animals, we are only their guardians. They are the voiceless and It is up to mankind to listen to their needs and understand that all creatures deserve kindness and respect.
�� I am devoted to my rescued animals and in the future, when funds permit, I will build a shelter haven for as many of the unwanted, aged, and abused that I can safely house and support.
�� I am only a GRASS ROOTS, tiny sanctuary for the present. I have in my care, 9 horses, 1 shetland pony, 1 donkey,19 cats,4 dogs, and dozens of "pet" chickens and 2 peacocks. All my life I have been involved with the rescue of birds, cats, dogs, and other little critters. Then 12 years ago I got involved with the rescue of horses.
�� I do ebay auctions to help support my rescues. I will be adding interesting articles to my page as time permits, and as I learn the web. I plan on inviting people to tell their personal stories of their pets and rescues. I also plan poetry contests and the top 12 winners will have their poem with a picture of their pet on a calendar page.
