| After a trouble filled second season in VCL, Spirit failed to make finals. We placed 19th (91.5) out of 47 corps in quarterfinals, missing the cutoff point of 17 by 1.1 points, and trailed the top corps by 6.8 points. But we placed 3rd & 4th in the Music captions due to a decision the afternoon before to transplant all guard members to the brass lines for added power & effect. VCL XIV will begin in the spring of '02. |
