Building an Elevated Feeding Stand
An elevated feeding stand is important for a number of reasons. Some say that it decreased the amount of air intake while eating thus lowering your dogs chances for blote. If you watch your dog eating off the floor and how far his neck streaches to get all the way down there an elevated dish would only make since. And when you have a dog who, when standing up straight, has a mouth that comes well above your waist you can really see just what a journey it is to get that mouth to the floor and just how much more comfortable and logical it would be for them to eat from an elevated dish.
