I've been meaning to post a new entry for the longest time, but this first post of 2009 has come at just the right time. Last night, I became one of the latest college grads to walk across the stage, and now, I'm the proud owner of an Associate's Degree in Networking Technology. This moment was 12 years in the making, but I finally made it! Now the next step is to search for an IT job, and with the economy as bad as it is right now, it will be very challenging just to find one. Hopefully, though, there'll be plenty of job opportunities to undertake, and I'm very excited about the prospect of landing one. And in a few days, I will be expected to enter into a new endeavor. I can't tell you what it is yet, but I'll give the details when I get to it. Once again, I'm now officially a college graduate, and can't wait for the next phase in life. It'll be sad to leave behind the friendships I've created over the last two years, but I can stay in touch with them by phone and email. In addition to keeping my MySpace, I intend to get my Facebook back again, and I might even take up Twitter, if only I knew how.
