Weeks 7 and 8 in Review
Well, it's time for the Fall Break, and I'm very nervous about what might happen. The Lab Facilitator position has gone to someone else, meaning that I'd have to wait until the Spring semester to get the credits needed to graduate on time. With each passing week, though, this seems less and less likely that I will pull that off. Meanwhile, I'm focusing on getting my classwork done, and looking for a job. In fact, I went on another mall tour last week in search of some work, and I might be in luck, because the stores will be hiring for the holidays, which means that I will more than likely have something to do this holiday season other than sitting at home and wasting valuable time surfing the Internet and watching TV. The time has come for me to consider a job close to home, and also, to prepare to save up some money to buy my own insurance and my own car. I've estimated that by the end of 2009, I will have my very own transportation to make up for the one I wrecked only three days after my birthday. Additionally, I'd have to move out almost immediately after graduation, because it's been made clear that I can't stay at home beyond my 30th birthday, so once I've settled into my new job, I'll have to look for a new address. Stay tuned, because I'll let you know when the time comes...
