Reviewing Week 1
Today marks the end of the first full week of classes for me. I'm getting settled into my new schedule, and so far I've made the most of my opportunities to study. Right now, I have Security, Linux, Windows XP and Music Appreciation, and I'm continuing to study for the CCNA exams. In addition, I've begun to meet new people, although most of my classmates have returned. After this semester is over, I will have 39 credits left, and I do intend to take summer classes again this year. Then in 2009, I should have my Associates Degree, if everything goes the way I hope it does. I'm carefully mapping out my remaining courses, and I already have a good idea of what I would like to take this summer. I'm planning to take another English and math course, as well as Communications. When the summer schedule arrives in April or May, I should have a better idea of exactly which courses I will take. After the summer is done, I should have 30 credits left to complete my Networking Technology degree. I'm just beginning to learn new applications, although I'm familiar with most of them, and that should pose no problem. During the holidays, I've practiced my CCNA skills using the Packet Tracer that I installed for home use, and I'm also taking TestOut quizzes on a regular basis. One week down, 16 to go...Hopefully, this semester will be better than the last. I can't wait to see what's in store this time around.
