Week 17 Review
It's the last week of the Fall semester, and I've managed to reach a new low: I've told everyone that I might not live too long. In fact, I updated them on the countdown to my last day on Earth, which is today. The reason behind this is that I've failed at everything, especially love, friendships and working. Since I'm not coming back to Food Lion, I might as well search for a new job, which I'm doing every day of the week. It's what I've been told to do since I got here. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Avenue has been closed, and it will not open to traffic again until summer 2009. The street is undergoing an extensive makeover, with new streetscaping, a trolley line running down the middle, and all overhead wires being relocated underground. Currently, there are telephone poles on the opposite side of Elizabeth from where I take most of my classes. I wonder if all the poles will be removed, or only those in the vicinity of the construction? I've bid my friends a sad farewell, and told them that it was nice meeting them. But there's still hope that I might still live, and if I do, I will make some changes in my life to become a better person in 2008. Right now, I'm focusing on the little time I have left on this Earth, and I hope that they miss me when I'm gone. As much as they try to convince me that I'm not going to die, I've countered them with the saying that I most likely will. But who knows? You'll have to stay tuned for whether or not I survive...
