I can't believe that the semester is almost over...Only two weeks to go before the whole thing comes to an end, and I can hardly wait. I've already paid for classes for the next semester, so I'm all set. The Spring Semester starts on January 10, and better yet, most of my friends will be back. I've given them a sneak preview of what to expect, as I've gone back to wearing glasses for the first time since my senior year in high school. All week long, I've been bringing in my yearbook for them to see, and they complimented me on how handsome I looked in those photos. They now have further proof of my dancing prowess, having seen the prom photo in which I danced to the Spice Girls, who were one of the hottest groups back in the 1990s. As for my new look, they complimented me on how smart and sophisticated I've become, which is something I never expected from anyone, and certainly didn't get from my old high school classmates. One day, I might dream up a movie with some of my college classmates playing those from high school. Obviously, I'd be playing myself, and I can match some roles to my friends because they have some of the same characteristics as their counterparts. I've already put up the senior photos on both MySpace and Facebook, as a flashback to the good old days. I'm expecting to hear my friends say, "This is 2007, and you have us now. Forget about them, because they're history." And besides, when compared to my current college friends, my old high school classmates were not all that special to me anyway.
