Week 14 Review
Since this week has been shortened by the Thanksgiving holiday, I may as well start writing this post one day earlier than usual. There's a lot to be thankful for this year. For me, that's my family, friends, and well-being. I never imagined in a million years that I would meet as many new people as I have in the nearly two years that I've been here. And best of all, my Financial Aid check for $2,155 has arrived. I intend to use this money to pay for classes and books next semester. Speaking of next semester, it starts on January 10, and I'm excited to see what it'll be like. I admit that I've never shown my friends the respect that they deserve, but it's because I never realized just how lucky I was to have them on my side. I've also reconnected with my old high school classmates through both Facebook and MySpace, so that's another reason to be thankful. Next month, I will have had my car for one year, and I really like it. I could've driven back to Baltimore to spend the holiday with my father and older brother, who still live there, but maybe I'll make it next year. Anyway, I'm so glad that I've managed to survive another Thanksgiving, and I'm ready for the big feast, so in closing, I want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving, and I hope you have a lot to be thankful for, just like I do!
