Week 8 Review
Well, it appears that things are back on track friendwise, and I'm still working hard at the Food Lion...I took all my midterm exams this week, and so I can relax because the pressure is off...I just found out something that would be of great interest. I still remember back in high school, when no one wanted to be my friend, but those days are long gone. Now that I've moved on to community college, I finally start to realize that true friendship means a lot more to me than I ever thought possible. After all, I now know who my true friends are, and they're attending CPCC, or at least are alumni of the college. When I told them that everybody hates me, they replied that this wasn't true at all. I know I just say things without meaning them, but I really blew off a lot of steam, until I was assured that everyone loves me. I should learn to start trusting my friends more when they tell me things like that. And hopefully, I can still make the trip to Atlanta next year, after the next semester has ended. Just the other day, I uploaded some new photos on both my Facebook and MySpace accounts, and in addition, I used a new default photo for the MySpace profile. Tomorrow, I'm supposed to go to Winston-Salem for my aunt's 100th birthday, so I plan to work reduced hours at the Food Lion. It's a 90-minute drive from Charlotte, and the party starts at 3, so I hope to be done by 1. Well, I must get ready for work, so I have to close for now. But thanks, everybody, for helping me realize the value of true friendship, and also for serving as prime examples of that! I feel a lot better because of you.
