Week 6 Review
So here's what happened this week: Besides being busy with classes, I have been trying to make new friends, and I'm still entering new numbers into my cell phone, as well as new email addresses into my online address book. As for the Atlanta trip, it's still in the planning stages, but I'm taking at least one person with me. I also signed up for Facebook (www.facebook.com), and I started searching for my old high school classmates, as well as my current ones in college. I found out just how wrong I am for believing that everyone from high school had moved to Atlanta; in fact, only one person lives there now. Most of my old classmates are still living in Baltimore, although I've also seen Chicago, New York, Washington, DC and Los Angeles as the residences of some others. Ricky and I are friends again, after a brief falling out. He apologized for calling me an idiot, and I was more than willing to give him a second chance, because I'd hate to see a seven-year friendship end that way. As hard as it is to believe, the halfway point of the semester is two weeks away, and that would be Week 8. I finally got a new job: After calling Food Lion and walking into the store at least three times in the last two weeks, I will start next week as a part-time stocker. I am very excited about it, and I'm ready to save some of my earnings for that elusive trip to Atlanta next summer. The rest will be used to pay for gas, food, and other necessities. Well, from the look of things, I've had a very busy week. Now I must prepare myself for next week, and I'll let you know how much progress I've made at the end. Most of my friends are balancing work with school, and soon, I will be doing it as well.
