From CPCC to UNCC in 2009
While I’m preparing to start fall classes at CPCC, there’s a new possibility for where I could earn my Bachelor’s Degree: UNC-Charlotte. Actually, it’s a very familiar place to me, because I’ve had a couple of relatives attend UNCC. The thought of attending UNCC for the last two years is actually an intriguing prospect, and I am planning to tour the campus, as well as ask about the Information Technology program there. I know that a lot of CPCC graduates transfer to UNCC every year, because they want to stay local, and there’s nothing wrong with that. In 2009, I will have earned my Associate’s Degree in IT, and I could see myself finishing the remainder of my studies at UNCC. As of right now, I’m using up 22 of the 69 credits required for graduation, and that includes the upcoming fall classes. I, for one, am happy that summer school is over, and there’s a good chance I might do it again next year, as I need another English class and math class to satisfy my educational requirements. Those are the same two subjects I had this past summer, so I’m already set. I’ll keep you updated throughout the next two years on my progress towards my Associate’s Degree, and hopefully, I can continue my studies at UNCC, finally graduating in 2011. I know, it would be ten years later than originally planned, but I’m taking on the opportunity headfirst. And who knows what’ll happen after that? Maybe I’ll meet the woman who becomes my wife, and I get a very well-paying job doing what I’ve always wanted to do, and that’s working in the IT field. But for now, the start of school is three weeks away, and I’m still planning to obtain a part-time job to pay for gas. Again, I’ll update you on my academic progress as time goes on. 2007-07-31 14:41:24 GMT
