The King of Charlotte
Telling it like it is, live from the Queen City!
The Beginning of the End

Last night, I saw a clip of CPCC's most recent graduation on the news (www.foxcharlotte.com).  The event was held at Cricket Arena on Independence Boulevard (the building formerly known as the Charlotte Coliseum), and 750 total graduates were involved. There's a good chance that some of my new friends were there, but I will get in touch with them over the summer.

Actually, there were two graduations taking place. One was at 1:30 PM, and the other was at 7:30 PM. In the first ceremony, 250 graduates were recognized, and 500 more graduates walked across the stage in the second. So far, it's a new record at the college, and that number will continue to rise as more new residents are added to the Charlotte metro area.

For more information, you can view the college's website at www.cpcc.edu. I do intend to continue my education in the coming semesters; first I'll be taking an A+ certification preparatory course this summer, then I may concentrate on working towards an Associate Degree in IT in the fall. I'll keep everyone posted.
