It seems like forever ago, but back in 1997, I was attending my high school senior prom, dancing the night away. And then came the after-party, where there was music, bowling, and just hanging out. In the final two weeks, I was collecting names and numbers of my classmates, and we promised each other that we would stay in touch after graduation. But that was ten years ago...

And now, I'm done with my college classes for this year. Even though there's no prom to tell you about, nor an after-party, I'm still collecting names, numbers, and email addresses of everyone I want to stay in contact with. And this time, I won't forget to contact them, like I did in high school. Because it's a lot easier to make friends in Charlotte than it was in Baltimore, I am more willing to make a better effort at staying in touch with who I now have.  That said, I will call or write them every chance I get, and they can count on that!
