11/5/2 Vs. Ju Chan Vs. Extreme Warrior Vs. SXP

Ju Chan, Extreme Warrior, SXP

taking notice...

The scene opens up with a shot of a long highway.  As the camera starts to lower and zoom in, it begins to concentrate on a black Ford Mustang.  The car continues driving until it turns off the highway and down a dirt path.  It pulls up slowly in a small parking area and after a few moments the drivers door opens.  Spike gets out of the car and shuts the door behind him.  He takes a breath of fresh air and looks at the camera.

Spike: It makes a change doesn't it.  Being out here in the open, as opposed to the usual things we do.  Talking in gyms and watching back tapes of our opponents.  Well I thought that I'd cast a few judgments on my latest opponents, but I'd do it out here, where there is no-one to interrupt or intervene.  I guess SXP is a good a person as any to start off with.

Spike pauses a moment as he starts to think back about SXP.  Soon his expression turns from pensive to relaxed.

Spike: Well, what can I really say about him.  There's not much really is there.  Should I remind him of never having one a match?  Or should I remind him of how his 'highly anticipated debut' turned out to be nothing more than a joke.  He might have aligned himself with the Regime, but that won't help him, if anything, it'll hinder him.  SXP, do you really think that the rest of the Regime care about you?  No they don't.  Every single member of that group is out for one person and one person only, themselves.  They couldn't care if you don't win.  In their eyes, you're expendable.  It wouldn't be hard to replace you, and you know what bugs you the most, you know I'm right about it.  Well now you've got a chance to prove your worth to them.  Bring everything you've got this week, and then bring some more, 'cause you're going to need it.  Let me tell you this for free, if I don't kick you're sorry ass this week, Extreme Warrior or Ju Chan definitely will.  Be warned SXP, this week won't be a memorable one for you.

Spike leans back against his car and looks out over the landscape.  He admires the scenery for a few moments and then starts to talk again, his gaze still wandering over the surroundings.

Spike: Ju Chan, you're proving to be more trouble than I thought you would be.  It seems you respect me as a competitor, and truth be told, the feeling is mutual.  But before we get all friendly and start a mutual admiration parade, I think you should know something.  While I do respect you, I won't hesitate to kick your teeth right down your throat if it will be of benefit to me.  There are only a few men in this place that I trust unequivocally and you're not one of them.  You should know that wrestling is a harsh business.  The second that you become blind with naivety is the second you get your lights turned out by someone like me.  Other than High Impact, I don't care who I have to step over to get to where I want to be, and that includes you.  You say you will beat me this week, you're wrong.  You can meditate and train all you want to, 'cause it'll all be done in vain.  I've no doubt that I won't be able to fault you on effort, but I'm going to put myself out there and say right now that you won't get the job done.  While you are confident, that may be your downfall.  Don't get me wrong, I'm always confident and it doesn't do me any harm, but I have the skill to back it up.  I guess in a few days, we'll find out if you do.

Spike stands up straight and starts to walk away from the car.  He takes a few steps towards a small wooden bench and looks beyond it.  The clearing comes to an abrupt end and drops suddenly by about thirty feet.  Spike stands there looking out over the crystal clear waters of the lake below him.  There is complete silence for a few moments until there is a gentle splash in the water.  Spike looks down over the edge to see a young child jumping into the water and swimming about.  He also notices that the child's parents are enjoying a picnic by the side of the lake.

Spike: It's quite the juxtaposition isn't it.  The serenity of my current surrounds compared to the violent nature of my usual surroundings.  I have a feeling that this week will be more chaotic than usual, and I have one man to thank for that.  That's you Extreme Warrior.  You were right, I should've looked on the internet for you, find out what I'm up against.  You know what thought, I did that and guess what it bought up.  Nothing.  Well, nothing worth mentioning anyway.  In case you don't realise, the reason I don't know about you, let me spell it out for you.  I don't care.  If I dig deep enough then I probably would find something about you.  The only problem about that is that I don't need to know where you've been, what titles you've held or who you've beat, 'cause that's all in the past.  This is the present Warrior, me and you going at it is the present.  Looking at your past record won't change the way I look at you, not yet anyway.  The only way I will start to realise that what you say about yourself is true, is if you beat me this week.  Until then, I'm going to treat you just like everyone else.  It'll be an interesting one Extreme Warrior.  In a few short days, I've gone from not really caring whether you're in the match or not to wanting you there.  I want some competition and I think you're just the man to give it to me.  Deep down, we both know that the deciding fall will involve me or you so do me a favour, I want everything you've got this week, so then there will be no excuses, no feeble reasons for losing, it'll just be down to who is better, me or you.

Spike turns around to face the camera again as he starts to walk back to his car.

Spike: It seems that since Wolf and I won the tag team titles people have been calling us paper champions and unworthy of the belts.  But let me ask you this, if we're so easy to beat, why didn't Murderous Intent retain the titles?  And why is it that there are literally no other teams that want to step up to take us on?  Let me tell you why.  It's because we ARE the best tag team in this company and everyone knows it.  If people think we won by a fluke or that we don't deserve the belts then feel free to step up and try to take them.  A week ago I would've said that Wolf and I were going to dominate SCCW, but now, with Gametime and Donovan Cage by our sides, High Impact will dominate SCCW and there isn't a damn thing the Regime or anyone else can do about it.

Spike opens the car door and slams it behind him.  He pulls back out of the dirt path and starts driving down the main highway again as the scene fades to black.
