Vs Jay Jerzey

Jay Jerzey

"In every competition since the dawning of time, some have always excelled.  They exceed expectations and bypass the competition, leaving the weak in their wake.  These men take what they want, when they want to and back down from no-one."

the one we've all been waiting for...

The scene opens to see Spike sitting in a black leather reclining chair.  His wearing a black t-shirt with a Papa Roach print on the front of it.  His face is mostly in the dark as no lights are lit in the room.  The only light is coming from the television set in the corner of the room.  The camera focuses on the TV.

Darkside gets back up slowly. Spike gets him in a front face lock. Darkside manages to push Spike off of him. Spike bumps the referee who hits the CPT off of the apron. Darkside is still bent over as Spike bounces off of the ref. Spike hits the Impaler on Darkside and both men fall on their backs. Genocide is out on the outside. CPT is on the outside. Spike and Darkside are both laying in the ring out of it with the ref half in and half out of the ring. The ref slowly rolls out of the ring and lands on the arena floor. Spike pulls himself up using the top rope. He looks down at Darkside with a smile on his face.

Spike: That should've been it.  Another win for me and my useless partner CPT.  But that wasn't how it ended was it.  This is what happened.

A large uproar is heard from the crowd as we see Jay Jerzey jumping over the barricade facing Spike's back. Jay slowly rolls under the bottom rope and stands behind Spike. Jay puts his arms out in the crucifix pose as Spike taunts Darkside. Spike goes to pick Darkside up by the hair but gets a low blow. Jay turns Spike around and double underhooks him. Jay then walks back to the turn post. Jay sits on the top turnbuckle with Spike's head between his legs. Jay dives forward and delivers a Forgiveness to Spike.

Spike: I still find it hard to believe that you have the audacity to do that Jay.

The impact from the piledriver causes Spike to bounce off of his head and land on his feet. Spike quickly falls down in the center of the ring on his back. Jay stands above Spike and makes the crucifix pose again while looking down on Spike.

Spike: Then to really push me over the edge, you start to mimic me, again.  You really know how to piss a guy off don't you Jerzey.

Jay laughs as he turns and climbs out of the ring. He picks the ref back up and rolls him under the bottom rope. Jay jumps back over the barricade and leaves the arena via the crowd. Darkside rolls over and puts his arm over Spike's chest as the ref begins to count.

Spike presses a button on the remote control that was on the arm of the chair tossing it onto the glass coffee table that is in front of him.  The TV is off and little to no light is in the room.  Spike leans over to another table just to his left and flicks a switch on a small lamp.  The room becomes lit with a pale white light, casting strange and eerie shadows on the walls where only parts of objects are catching the light.  Spike leans back in his chair and begins to speak.

Spike: Do you know how many times I've seen that Jay?  How many times I've watched your act of cowardice?  Enough to make me ready to exact some revenge on you.  Before you start rambling on about how my anger will be my downfall, ask Rage to see if it's true.

Spike taps at the title belt that is draped over the side of the chair.

Spike: 'Cause this right here, it says that my anger is an extreme asset to me.  Anger is just an emotion and it can be controlled.  I control my anger to work for me and look where it's got me, on top of the world.  So when I tell you that I'm pissed at you Jay, it doesn't mean that I will be coming at you with no game plan or strategy, it just means that I'll be hitting you that bit harder and making your life a living hell while we're in that ring together.

Do you remember a few weeks ago Jay when we met backstage at Nowhere to Run?  Do you remember what I said to you?  Let me refresh your memory.  It went something like this.  Don't think I forgot what happened, but I've got bigger things to do right now, so your time will come, sooner or later, your time will come.  Guess what Jay.  The bigger things have been dealt with and your time is now.  The time for me and you, the two best champions that this company has to offer, to go at it.  This is really a huge match for SCCW, seeing the Simcoe County Heavyweight Champion fight the Barrie District Champion.  It's one for the ages, and quite possibly a first in SCCW.

Too bad it's not a title versus title match, it's been a while since I've held that belt, it'd be good to get it back.  Do you know why it's been a while since I've held it?  'Cause I moved on.  I lost the belt and moved on, and now look at me.  You lost the belt and dwelled on it, never moving on, just lingering.  Then you went back to it.  I used to think that you were better than that title, a true contender.  Considering the history and prestige of that title, saying that you're better than it is a real honor and privilege, only a select few can say that.  But now my opinion of you has changed.  Since you resorted to under-handed tactics to get one over on me, your reputation has gone down faster than a hooker on an aging billionaire.

I've done the exact opposite to a lot of people.  I used to think that wrestling was just a way to pay the bills, a way to get through life without having the monotony of a desk job or CPT's future career, flipping burgers.  But now, now wrestling is a way of life.  It's not something you learn, sure the basics can be taught, but true greatness, that can only be achieved through giving up everything that you need to, making any sacrifices that you have to.  I moved from England to America to make a living in wrestling, I left the love of my life in America to move to Canada to wrestle in SCCW, so believe me when I say wrestling IS my life.  And I am damn sure not going to let someone as low as Jay Jerzey ruin my life by attacking me from behind and getting away with it.

Last time we met Jay, one move was hit, in about three or four minutes.  One move.  That's unheard of.   But this time will be a different story.  Everything you do, I'll do better, I'll do quicker, anything I have to to get the job done.  Every time I get in the ring, I adapt, I evolve.  Wrestling you Jay will be very different from when I wrestled Rage, but I've proved time and time again that I can roll with the punches and take anything this company can throw at me and that is why I am the "True Franchise" of SCCW.

I've had enough of all the talk between us Jay, the exchange of idle threats, trash talking, all of it.  This week, Sunday night, all those "idle threats" are about to become a grim reality for you.  And when we've finished the match and my hand has been raised, you'll crawl across the ring to me, and you'll be the one that will be begging for forgiveness.

Spike stands and walks away from the chair.  The camera focuses in on the title belt still draped over the arm of the chair as the scene slowly fades.
