w/CPT Vs Damion Darkside and Genocide

Everyone in Match

"In every competition since the dawning of time, some have always excelled.  They exceed expectations and bypass the competition, leaving the weak in their wake.  These men take what they want, when they want to and back down from no-one."

The true franchise....and CPT...again?!

The scene opens to see Spike and his girlfriend Jane sitting on a small wooden bench on the back porch of the house.  Spike is leaning up one side of the bench, with his arm resting on the top of it and Jane is leaning against him.  He is wearing black denim jeans and a long-sleeved white top.  She is also wearing back jeans but is wearing a light green coat.  The sun is beaming down on them, but there is no real warmth in it, not at this time of the year anyway.  He hair is blowing in the gentle breeze, she moves it away from her face and starts to speak.

Jane: What time is it?

Spike looks at  his watch.

Spike: 11.20, why?

Jane: My classes start today and I don't want to be late.

Spike: Already?  I'm glad you finally decided to give it another go, you have to admit, waitressing for the rest of your life wouldn't have made you happy.

Jane: I know.  Starting again just seemed like such a big decision to make, I guess I just needed someone to make it for me.

Spike: You can always count on me.

Jane: I know I can.  Well, I haven't got a class on Monday morning so I'll be able to come see you at the show, if you want.

Spike: Of course, I always want you around, but I know how you fell about me wrestling.  You don't have to come if you don't want to.

Jane: No, I'm okay with it, kind of, maybe, I'm getting there okay.  Who is it again this week?

Spike: Two guys called Genocide and Damion Darkside, with CPT as my partner.

Jane: CPT, isn't he the guy that you've got a big problem with?  And the other two, never heard of them

Spike: Yes he is, and exactly, they're nobodies, just two guys there to fill out the card.

Jane: I'd better be going, I have to be there for 12 and I have no idea where the room is.  I don't remember college being so stressful the first time.

Spike: That's because the first time, you were 18, you don't get stressed at 18, and now you're twenty...

Jane stares at Spike waiting for him to finish his sentence.  Spike grins and changes his mind.

Spike: Well, you're older now.  Stress matters more now.

Jane: You can say that again.  I'll see you later.  Bye.

Spike: Bye, have fun.

Jane stands from the bench and kisses Spike on the forehead before walking inside to the kitchen.  After a few moments, Spike hears the front door open and shut signaling Jane's departure.  Spike looks directly at the camera and begins to speak.

Spike: It seems strange to me that the two of you are resting your hopes of winning this match on the fact that me and CPT, 'don't get along'.  Well, I hate to break it to you both, but last week, we 'didn't get along', and we beat the tag champs, sorry I beat the tag champs.  So what makes you two think that this week will be any different?  If I can pick up a win while Jay Jerzey is in the opposing team, I can sure as hell pick up a win against one of you two.  If hoping that our dysfunction sabotages our chances of winning is all you're both going on, I'd prepare for a loss now.

I mean Genocide, are you really still 17?  Are you allowed to be in the ring, do you have your parents permission?  Doesn't Slam run past your bed time, especially seeing as you have to be up bright and early Monday morning for school?  I find it strange that you're actually glad about being the 'most underrated team in SCCW history'.  No, actually, I find it strange that you can call yourselves that in the first place.  Have you two ever even won a tag team match before?  You should really call yourselves the most useless team in SCCW history.  I may be stepping into the ring this week with three enemies all gunning for me, but I think CPT wants the win as much as I do.  And seeing as between us we've been in more tag team matches than you've probably been in matches, I think we can handle ourselves.  There is one thing that keeps playing on my mind though Genocide.  If you are still 17, then why would you want to pigeon-hold yourself already with some worthless partner like Darkside?  You've got a long future ahead of you, why ruin it already?  People will say, "he looks impressive, but he used to team with Darkside, I guess that must mean he's picked up some of his habits, like perpetual loss", I can see it now.  I'm telling you Genocide, cut the cord, let him go, tell him to hit the bricks, you'll be better off without him.

And Damion, picking on 17 years olds, does that make you feel like a real man?  What's next taking candy from babies, mugging old age pensioners?  It's pathetic.  So what if you've beaten Sloppy Joe and Jim Diamond, I did too, in the same night.  You were probably still bullying toddlers at the time so let me remind you, I won my first singles title by beating Sloppy Joe, that was about eight months ago.  So if you're only at the point where you can pick up a win against the 'Phat-man', imagine where I am NOW.  Admit it Darkside, you're beneath me.  In that ring, when our talents are compared, I eclipse you completely.  Comparing our accolades would be unfair seeing as I've been here for nearly a year and you've been here what a month, maybe a little more.  I'll tell you what, when a year has passed and you're still stuck in mid-card obscurity fighting, and most likely losing to one new comer after another, then we'll compare.  Actually, forget that last bit, in a years time, you'll have had enough of losing and left to try your luck elsewhere, and I'm here to tell you, the fans, the rest of the boys in the back, we can't wait for that time to come.  So, I'm going speed up the process and give you the beating of your life this week, who knows maybe I can convince you to take your ball and leave a little sooner.

CPT, don't think I forgot about you.  I gave you a little preview last week of what's to come between us, did you like it?  No?  Well unless you want this week to turn into the feature attraction, you'd better not screw anything up.  Our time is coming CPT, sooner or later, the 'powers that be' will stop trying to piss me off by giving me you as a partner and give me what I really want.  You and me, one-on-one, so I can finally prove to everyone, why I am the "True Franchise" and you are just a pathetic wannabe.  Remember one thing though CPT, once the final bell has rung and the referee has lifted my arm in victory, it's open season again, and you may well end this match like you did last week, lying flat on your back wondering where it all went wrong.

Spike stands and walks away from the bench, leaving his ominous words hanging in the air as the scene slowly fades to black.
