Vs Extreme Warrior Vs BBK

Extreme Warrior, BBK, Chris Bond, Mr. E

"In every competition since the dawning of time, some have always excelled.  They exceed expectations and bypass the competition, leaving the weak in their wake.  These men take what they want, when they want to and back down from no-one."

the match to steal the show?!

The scene opens up to a shot of a fairly large living area.  There is a big open fireplace with a roaring flame in the middle.  There is no light in the room, apart from the shadows being cast by the flickering flames.  The usually white walls are bathed in an orangey-yellow glow, also from the fire.  The camera pans around to see Spike sitting on a large leather couch with his sister.  In front of them is a thick, oak coffee table with two glasses on it.  Spike is wearing black denim jeans and a white t-shirt, with his hair down, but brushed away from his face.  His sister, Sarah, is wearing blue denim jeans and a white blouse.  Spike reaches for one of the glasses and takes a drink from it before placing it back down and starting to talk.

Spike: I'm glad you finally got a few days off.  It makes a change you coming to see me, instead of the other way around.

Sarah: Well I've been meaning to do it for a while now, you've really done the place up since the last time.

Spike: Thanks.  I've finally got enough time and money to get the place the way I want it.

Sarah: Speaking of money, you must've got a pretty big pay-off last week, what with main-eventing a big show and all.

Spike: It was...enough.  Did you see the show then?

Sarah: Yeah I did, you had one hell of a match with that Warrior guy.  And by the way, it looks like you weren't right about that Mr. E guy.  It wasn't Chris Bond after all, it was that other guy, what's his name...Ted something-or-other, the Olympic guy.

Spike: You mean Ted Hurd.

Sarah: That's the one.  I knew I was close.

Spike: I was kinda right.  Bond did have something to do with it.  I knew that something that sneaky and devious had to have had someone from the Regime in on it.  Plus, it made sense for Bond to want revenge on me, I mean I was scheduled to fight him before his contract was terminated a few weeks back.  Ted Hurd just doesn't make sense, I mean why try to screw with me.

Sarah: Maybe he just wanted the Lethal title.  Look at it this way, now the belt's been retired you haven't heard anything from him.

Spike: Maybe you're right, maybe that's all it was.  But if I ever get in the ring with Ted Hurd then he should know that I won't forget all of the stuff he put me through with all his cloak and dagger bullshit.

Sarah: What do you think of Chris Bond now?  I mean he seems to have turned over a new leaf so to speak, what with stopping Hurd from getting involved in your match last week.

Spike: I don't know, maybe Sloppy Joe did help him see the error of his ways, but maybe it's all an act.  With someone like Chris Bond, you can never be too sure.  All I know is that good or bad, I don't trust him as far as I can throw him.

Sarah: That's your call, but I'd say he's a changed man now, you can just tell.  It's woman's intu..

Spike: Don't give me that 'women's intuition' crap.  You know men are always right, you should just accept that.

Sarah scowls at Spike playfully and he holds up his arms in defence.

Spike: Okay, Okay, I'm only joking.  Are you going to come to the show this week?

Sarah: I can't, it's too short notice to get a babysitter.  Besides, by the time I'd made the drive back from the arena, it'd be really late, not all of us can only work on Sunday nights, some of us have to get up for work on Monday mornings.

Spike: Someone sounds like their under a lot of stress.

Sarah: Sorry, I didn't mean it to sound that way, I'm just really tired at the moment,  I haven't been sleeping well.

Spike: Well, if you ever need anything, you know where I am, besides, I only work Sunday nights, remember.  So there shouldn't be a problem if you need me.

The two share a smile and continue to talk.

Sarah: Who is it you're fighting this week?  Extreme Warrior and BBK isn't it?

Spike: Yeah, I get to show Extreme Warrior one more time why I am the better man.  You know, in all the time's I've faced him, he's never beaten me, not even once, and for some reason he still has all the confidence in the world.

Sarah: Maybe he's just living in hope.  Who knows maybe this one will be his one last shot at it before realising that he can't beat you.

Spike: Maybe.  It's going to be BBK that is going to be the one to beat in this one.  I know he's only been back for a few weeks, but he's been on somewhat of a roll since.  But then again, so have I.  I think we both need this win just as badly as each other.

Sarah: Perhaps, but look at your past with him.  Anyone who's followed SCCW for a while will know how much history the two of you have.  So you should know what he's capable of, what to expect from him.

Spike: I do.  He's already said that he's looking at this match to break the tie that we have with each other.  But to be honest, I don't think that tie will ever be broken.  He wants to get the win to fuel his ego, to think that he is the best, and to some extent so do I.  But I know that BBK is one of the best, so being able to beat him just lets me know that I'm one of the best to.  He hasn't really got any allies around at the moment, except for Tosha.  Felon's gone, SXP's gone, Bond has 'seen the light', so really, he's on his own.  But that's the way I want it and I think he does to.  I don't think he'd be happy to get a win over me if someone else did the damage.   He'd want to beat me knowing that he did it, not someone else.

Sarah: That's true, beating you himself would do more for his ego so that's probably the way he'd want it.  Have you heard back from Wolf yet?

Spike: No.  Not yet.  I still don't know what last week meant.  I keep playing the moment over in my mind, as best as I can anyway, I don't really remember it too well.  I saw it on the TV afterwards and even then, when I knew what was coming, I still didn't believe it.  If I don't see him or talk to him before Sunday, I'll just wait and see if he shows up at the arena.  Anyway, enough shop talk, I know you don't like to talk about it.  What's been going on with you?

The two of them continue to talk for a while, catching up on each others lives.  After about an hour, Sarah yawns and stretches, looking over at the clock on the mantelpiece.

Sarah: I'm feeling really exhausted now, the drive must have took it out of me.  I'm going to go to bed.  I'll see you win the morning.

Spike: Okay.  Good night.

Sarah stands up and stretches again before leaving the room.  Spike picks up one of the glasses off the table and takes a drink from it before placing it back down.  He looks directly at the camera and begins to talk.

Spike:  I can't help but notice that Extreme Warrior has been really quite since last week.  Since all his bravado and tough talk came back to bite him in the ass.  Have you gone into hiding Warrior?  Are you scared that you're going to lose again this week?  Don't worry, it'll be quick, quicker than last week.  You see this time, there's me and BBK to kick your teeth down your throat and make you eat your words.  Warrior, to be honest I've had enough of you.  I don't like the way you stabbed SCCW in the back and joined team NWA and I don't like your attitude, but I guess I made my feelings towards you perfectly clear last week.  There is no room for someone like you in SCCW, so do us all a favour and when you get beaten down this week, don't get back up, just get gone.  Once again, SCCW is going to show team NWA that we don't take kindly to threats and that if you want to wage a war on us, not only are we ready for it, we're going to win it.

Then I guess there is you BBK.  I'm glad to hear that you are truly ready for this week because I am.  The reason I called you a warm-up match, is because win or lose, I'm going on to bigger and better things, I'm going on to soon re-capture the Provincial Heavyweight title.  There is a lot to be said about you BBK, but to be honest, It's all been said before.  But one thing you don't hear too often, is someone singing your praises, but on this rare occasion, I will.  With the exception of Midnight Felon, I know you in that ring, and maybe better than anyone else.  But with all the times we've faced each other, how could I now know you.  I know what you're capable of and I know what lengths you will go to to win this week.  You'd love nothing more than to get one over on your old nemesis, wouldn't you.  But I'm here to tell you that that just isn't going to happen.  We may have an even record and that's the way it will most likely stay, but I don't really think this week is about our record is it.  As you've said, this one will be purely for the egos.

I agree with you on another thing as well, I think if we added fuel to our flaming rivalry, then we'd burn down the entire SCCW in the process, so we don't need to do that.  I don't think we need to elevate our hatred towards each other, because I have plenty of residual anger left over from the last time, and I'm sure you do to.  But the you've pointed out two different people that I can be, the hot-headed Spike, or the cool-minded, rational Spike.  You want to know which one you're going to be facing, it'll be both of them.  You see, since the last time we met, I've learnt that I can control my temper and my rashness, and let it work for me.  You don't belive me, ask the last two guys that I beat, Mike Austin and Extreme Warrior.  At one time, they were both tought very highly of in this company and I've beaten them back to back, in two straight weeks.  So believe me when I that I am in complete control of my emotions.  Not only will I be level-headed enough to keep my cool in the ring, but I will be pissed off enough to inflict as much damage to you as I see fit.  While I may have some level of respect for you and your abilities, I have no problems whatsoever with beating you into a bloody pulp, and that's said in my rational state of mind.  See you Sunday BBK, I can hardly wait.

Spike stands up and slowly walks towards the door of the room.  The camera focuses in on the last few dying flames in the fire as the scene slowly fades.
