Vs. Wildman Willy (non-title)

Wildman Willy

"In every competition since the dawning of time, some have always excelled.  They exceed expectations and bypass the competition, leaving the weak in their wake.  These men take what they want, when they want to and back down from no-one."

a walk on the wild side

The scene opens up with a shot of Spike walking down a dark alleyway.  He looks around at a few of his surroundings and notices a trash can where a fire had been burning recently.  He walks over and looks inside to see the charred remains of the wood and garbage that had been burnt in there.  He looks around at the edge of the walls and along the floor and sees a few cardboard boxes propped up where the homeless had once occupied it.  Spike  looks up at the camera and begins to speak.

Spike: This looks like the place to me.  Is there where you live Willy?  I'm sure this is where you were the other day.  I thought that I'd come down here to see what the fascination was with living like gutter trash.  Personally, I don't get it.  But then again, there are a lot of things that I don't get about you.  The first thing that I have to ask is this, what's going on with the whole talking in third person thing?  Is it to remind yourself of your name?  No, I get it, I think, it's your 'thing'.  Some wrestlers have stupid moves that people love to watch, some wrestlers have stupid catchphrases that people love to hear, and you, you have your third person thing.  I have to tell you though, it's lacking originality, the third person talk went out with the turn of the century.

Spike walks down the alleyway back towards the street.  He turns out of the alleyway and heads towards a small vendor on the edge of the street.  He walks over to him and gets his attention.

Spike: Hey, can I get a hotdog and a large coffee.

Vendor: Sure thing.  Hey wait a minute, aren't you that Spike guy from that wrestling place?

Spike: Yes, I am.  It's called SCCW.

Vendor: Of course it is, I've never been good with remembering things like that.

The vendor gets the order together and then turns to face Spike.

Vendor: Aren't you going up against that guy, Wildman something or other this week?

Spike: Yeah, Wildman Willy.

Vendor: I've seen him around, he was down here a few nights ago, lurking around in the alleys back there.  He's a weird one.  I hope you kick his ass this week so he can't come back here.  He puts off the customers, you know.  No-one wants to buy anything from here when you've got trailer trash like him hanging about.

Spike: Couldn't have said it better myself.

Vendor: That'll be an even $3.

Spike pulls out some change from his pocket and gives the man the money.  He turns around and walks off towards a small bench just set back from the edge of the road.  He sits down and starts to eat the hotdog.  After a few moments he continues to speak.

Spike: The next thing that I don't get about you is how you ask for matches.  Don't get me wrong, I understand that you have ambition and that you want to become a champion, but c'mon, do you really think you can beat me for my title.  Why don't you try your luck with another belt, 'cause at the moment, you're rolling snake eyes.  When I stop to think about it, you actually have a very high opinion of yourself don't you Wildman.  You didn't just come straight out with it and ask for a title shot, no, you asked for a non-title match and then a title match if you win.  What you're basically saying is that not only do you think you can beat me, you think you can beat me two weeks consecutively.  Well, I'm here to tell you that that just isn't going to happen.  Ask around, I'm not an easy guy to get the best of in the ring once, let alone two weeks in a row.

It also amazes me how you can still use phrases like, "you'll fell pain like never before" and still take yourself seriously.  Did you see what I went through last week?  That match with Devin Hawk was more physically exhausting than any match you've ever been in.  I've been in some epic battles here, against people like BBK, Midnight Felon, Mike Austin and even Sloppy Joe, so what makes you think that you can inflict more pain on me than I suffered through those matches?  You know, you're not far away from saying that you don't feel pain, but if you do say that, I'll make you eat your words.  Rest assured that when I say this, I mean it, you will be the one who will feel pain like never before this week.  I will stop at nothing to beat you and deep down, you know you've gotten yourself into a battle that you can't win.  There's no shame in losing.  As someone else has already said this week, suffering a loss to someone like Y2RR is embarrassing, but taking a loss from someone like me just adds you to a long list of others, there's no shame in that.

Just know this Willy, this week, you're serving as a message.  That message is going straight to the masked man that isn't on my good side.  Watch carefully mystery man, 'cause this fate, will soon be yours as well.  Do you really think that I am going to idly back and watch you walk around thinking you've got my number.  If that's what you're thinking then you're dead wrong.  You got the better of me before, by blindsiding me after a match, but that will all change soon.  Soon, I will catch up with you and when I do, there will be hell to pay.  I'm not going to let some punk ass bitch run around cheap shotting me.  I will have my revenge on you and when I do you'll regret the day you ever decided to screw around with me!

Spike stands up from the bench and turns his back to the camera.  He starts walking away down the street as the scene slowly fades to black.
