NBK Vs Tigerbeast
Dumpster match for Lethal Title |
NBK, Tigerbeast |
"In every competition since the dawning of time, some have always excelled. They exceed expectations and bypass the competition, leaving the weak in their wake. These men take what they want, when they want to and back down from no-one." the chance of A LIFETIME... The scene opens in the hallway of the SCCW arena. The camera, following SCCW interviewer Craig James, goes down the hall and stops suddenly. The camera shows a close-up of a plaque on the door that they have stopped in front of, it reads, "Spike". Craig turns around to the camera and starts to speak. Craig James: I'm hoping to get a few words with all individuals involved tonight in the Lethal Championship match. First off, is a man who needs no introduction, he is a multiple time champion and is no stranger to big match situations, it's Spike. Craig knocks on the door and hears Spike call out to him. Spike: Who is it? Craig James: It's Craig, I'm looking to get a few words about tonights match. Can I come in? Spike: Piss off Craig, I'm not in the mood for more pointless questions. Craig James: It'll only take a minute, can I just come in? Craig doesn't wait for Spike to reply and reaches for the door handle, the microphone still in his other hand. He opens the door and is met by the imposing figure of Spike. Spike blocks the doorway and starts to speak. Spike: What did I just say Craig? Craig James: Uhh.. I just wanted uhh.. a few words. Spike: Get out, NOW! Spike waits for Craig to turn around and start to walk away before grabbing the arm of the cameraman. Spike: Wait, I want to say a few last words to NBK and Tigerbeast. The cameraman enters the room and shuts the door behind him. Spike walks over to a small steel folding chair that is open. He sits down on it and leans forward, his hands resting on his thighs. He starts to speak, his voice stern and somewhat angry. Spike: NBK, the time is drawing closer. This match is highly anticipated, whether it be by the fans of SCCW, or just me, it's still being highly anticipated. Do you know why I'm looking forward to it so much? The first answer that should pop into anyone's mind would be me becoming the first ever Grand Slam Champion, but no, that's not it. That's now become the second reason, the first now concerns you. I've seen people like you before NBK, too cocky and arrogant for you own good. Never blatantly saying that you're untouchable, but always thinking it. You're right, your undefeated streak does make people talk, but do you think that you're the first one to ever have a few matches without losing. Saying that you're undefeated simply adds to fuel to your ever expanding ego, that way, it'll be all the better when I crush it. My past title reigns may not have been that long, but at least I have title reigns to brag about. It's still good to see that you're practicing with you're little 'toys'. It seems strange to me that the Lethal champion should need to practice with them. You see, it may have been a while since my last no-disqualification match, but making people writhe in pain is something that you never forget how to do. I've been in so many of those types of matches that I don't need to practice at it. You'll know what I mean when you feel you're own weapons crashing down on top of your skull, rendering you unconscious. A lot of people claim to be extreme but I'm going to do more than that, I'm going to prove to you that I'm extreme. There is no risk that I won't take and nothing that you can do to me that I won't throw right back at you. NBK, I'm actually looking forward to meeting you in the ring, not only so I can crush your hopes but so I can crush you as well. Spike leans back in his chair and carries on talking, a serious tone to his voice. Spike: Tigerbeast, you are seriously trying my patience. I have tried to be tolerable of you, it hasn't worked. I knew that coming into this match, you'd be running your mouth about how you and Wolf were tag team partners and how you were the X-Title champion, but that's all it will ever be, the past. Bring yourself into the present Tigerbeast, realise what is happening, live in reality. The reality is that if you think that you can simply take out NBK and then come after me then you are delusional. NBK will take you apart if you try to fight him one-on-one and so will I. Your only hope is that me and him knock each other out simultaneously so that you can win. You're a young punk kid with an attitude, everyone's seen it before. You're no different from any of the others. At least NBK shows potential and promise, you, you're nothing and that's all you'll ever be. It makes no difference to me whether I beat your ass in this match or whether I go the entire match without even hitting you, you're below me. Deep down, you've got to know that you've got as much chance of winning this as you would in a fight with the Devil himself. A lot of people would make idle threats about sending you straight to hell in a match like this, but I won't do that, it seems too cliché. My threat isn't idle, in fact, it's a promise. If you so much as look at me wrong, I'm going to beat you so bad that you're going to wish you could go to hell. Spike stands up and ushers the cameraman towards the door. He opens the door and pushes the cameraman out. Spike: I guess the talk is over now. All that's left now is three men, one title and one dumpster. Who will prevail in this encounter, who else but the True Franchise of SCCW... Spike trails off as he slams the door on the cameraman and the scene fades to black. |
