| 12/9/2 | Vs. Ric Braddon | Chris Bond, Ric Braddon |
"In every competition since the dawning of time, some have always excelled. They exceed expectations and bypass the competition, leaving the weak in their wake. These men take what they want, when they want to and back down from no-one." answering a challenge and A new victim... The scene opens with a shot of Spike sitting back in a small wicker chair on the front porch of his house. He has his one elbow resting on one of the arms of the chair with his other still held in a sling. He leans back in the chair a little more and starts to talk. Spike: I'm not in a very talkative mood right now, and anyone that saw Sunday Night Slam last week will know why, especially you Chris Bond. Last week you did something that I didn't think you had it in you to do, you took me out. It wasn't a very clever move Chris, you see now, I'm pissed at you, and I will get my revenge on you. In fact, you gave me that chance last week, you offered a one-on-one match with you at Revolutions. Are you brain dead Chris? You're going to willingly step in the ring with me after what you did, well it's your funeral. Earlier this week, I accepted your challenge and I said that I would take some time to contemplate the stipulations of this match. Well, I know that you're anticipating it greatly so I'll tell you what I've decided. A lot of matches crossed my mind but a few stood out. At first I thought, how about a lumberjack match? But then I thought, you're not a very popular guy Chris, so every time I threw you to the outside of the ring, you'd get seven shades of shit kicked out of you and I didn't want that. Don't get me wrong, I don't care for your well being, it's just that I want to be the one to beat you up. After a few more ideas came and went, one stuck. Picture this Chris, in neon lights, Chris Bond Vs Spike, "The Picture of Reflection" Vs "The True Franchise", in an Ontario Death Match. That's right Chris, that's the stipulation that I chose, so now the match is set. I've got business to attend to before our match, so I'll get to you in due course. Just in case you're still hoping that I'm injured... Spike rips of the sling and throws it on the floor beside him. Spike: I'll be one hundred percent ready for this match. No arm injury, no blood loss, just me, see you at Revolutions Bond. Spike relaxes a little and his tone of voice softens slightly before he continues talking. Spike: Speaking of the business that I have to attend to, it seems as though Ric Braddon took my advice. I think he has found himself a little corner to cower in, hoping that he can avoid the beating he is destined to receive this week. In case you can hear me Ric, listen closely. I don't blame you one bit for hiding. Hell, you're probably still hurting after Devin tossed you around last week, but this week will be exactly the same, if not worse. You see when Devin destroyed you, that's just 'cause that's the way he is, he's similar to me in that respect. The only difference is that I'm, shall I say a little annoyed at this time. That doesn't bode well for you Ric. In fact, it probably won't be worth you showing up. If you value your career or your well-being steer clear of Sunday Night Slam this week. If I wasn't pissed off at this moment in time then I'd think of letting you have a little chance, you know, make you think that maybe you could cut it as a wrestler after all, but as it happens, I'm not in the mood to do that. It's going to be quick but rest assured, it won't be painless. If you do show, it'll be the last time anyone sees you in an SCCW ring. I won't take pity and I won't have any remorse about what I do to you in that ring. You see, when I look across the ring at you on Sunday, I won't see you. I'll see the man who put my arm in a sling, the man who busted me wide open with a chair, the man who choked me out with a chair, I'll be seeing Chris Bond. I'm going to use you as a perfect way of sending a message to Chris Bond. You're nothing special Ric, nothing sets you apart from the rest of the crowd, not like me, I stand out from the crowd, I'm above the rest of the crowd, where you're just swamped in the middle of it. Ric, you're not going to pose any threat to me, in fact, you're going to be a warm up match for Revolutions. Ric, you're going to be just another mark in my win column, and this match will be yet another mark in what I'm sure will be an already full loss column for you. Depending on if you manage to get enough guts together, I'll see on Sunday Ric, until then, I'm not going to waste any more time and effort on a worthless piece of crap like you. Spike stands up from the chair and turns his back on the camera, heading inside his house as the scene fades to black. |
